Wow, this is the first year that I successfully got my Christmas shopping done ahead of time. While this may not sound like a big accomplishment, in my case it is a really big deal. The reason that this is a big deal for me is because I usually don’t finish all of my Christmas shopping until the last minute. Some people may exaggerate when they say they don’t finish until the last minute, but in my case, it is the absolute truth. There have been multiple years when I didn’t get my last gifts until the afternoon of December 24th!

Fortunately, I got organized early this year, so I was able to successfully get out and purchase all of the gifts that I needed. The really amazing thing is that not only did I get all of the gifts purchased (in case you are wondering, the last gift I purchased was a wood jewelry box, which I picked up from a small boutique on the other side of town), but I’ve also finished almost all of my wrapping. I think that Christmas is going to feel like a completely different experience now that I won’t have to rush around to finish everything at the last minute.
